Please tell me that this video is faked, overdubbed, or altered in some way. Tell me I'm not hearing what is seems I am. Explain this please. I'm out of the country and my access to news is limited, I'm sometimes able to stubble onto things now on facebook. I cannot believe that my chosen party affiliation would let something like this ever happen. Not in America.
I'm here in the Philippines fighting my own battle to help the good people of this country make a change to end poverty and corruption, to hold the Catholic Church accountable for its neglect for so many years. In some of my discussions I've praised the Jewish people of Israel for all their accomplishments, said what a great people they are, reminded them that they are God's Chosen, but reminding them also they have one problem they need to work on.
Then I discover this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96TwPYlEzZA
Just below is a message I received shortly after I requested clarification from the Democrat site on facebook.
Joe Crisi October 7 at 2:23am
In case you didn't see that video is a fake. There are many of them out there. Remember that Obama attended a Christian church until his reverend went a little crazy. I can assure you he is not a Muslim.
Mark Merejen Borders October 7 at 2:29am
Thank you, but I'd feel a lot more comfortable hearing that from a forensic video specialist. I watched that video carefully, very carefully backing up and re-watching to try to see an out of sync voice-over, I didn't. Can you point me to any video where, while he has been in office he has stated that: He is a born-again Christian whatever, that he accepts the Lord Jesus as his one and only personal Savior, that he asks forgiveness for his past sins and promises to live his life for Jesus. Can you point me there?
He is not a born again Christian. His mother, while being a person of faith, did not believe in organized religion. He chose Christianity on his own. I will get you something from a fact check site and will find a video as well.

Two nasty, and false, e-mails attack Obama. One claims that Obama
Mark Merejen Borders October 7 at 2:42am
Sir, I really thank you for responding to me, but sir, all Christians must be born-again. And if you don't know what that means, it means a rebirth where you accept Jesus into your life. It does not matter to me, or to any Christian if he was born and raised a Muslim. All that matters to us is did he accept Jesus into his life, if he did then his past is washed clean. That's what I want to hear, I've never cared if he was first Muslim, I've only cared that he was a Christian now. And, I think a country where there is 86% Christians would be just as concerned.
Well sir, I am a Catholic so I do not know about being born again. That is nothing something I can talk about. The bottom line is this. He is a Christian. If he needed to be born again than that is what he did. You can choose to believe the factcheck site that I supplied you with or the doctored video. I have no control over what you choose to believe.
Mark Merejen Borders October 7 at 2:58am
I want to believe the man that my life-long party affiliation nominated as candidate for President. My entire family, mother, father, on back through the generations have always been Democrats. My family served their country with distinction in both the armed and civilian side of the military. I served my country for 8 years as a Coast guardsman in the United States Coast Guard, a job that I was very proud of. I risked my life many times to rescue my own citizens when they were in distress. Continued to serve in the civil service of the US Army for 9 years during the first war with Iraq. I want to believe my Commander In Chief who I've pledged my life to, pledged to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America from all enemies foreign or domestic. So I ask, where can I view the video of my Commander In Chief telling everyone just how he became a Christian. Short of that, a hand written letter that he wrote stating how he became a Christian. This is serious news, serious End Times News, I need some answers to protect myself and my family.
Sir a video is not the place to find your answer. Video's can be doctored. He professed his faith just last week or the week before. The site I provided you is an unbiased site and is used by both parties for fact checking. That is the best I can do to provide you with the accurate information you asked for.
Mark Merejen Borders October 7 at 3:05am
I will review that information now, hope you don't mind if I have questions when I'm finished.
I searched diligently for proof below is what I’ve discovered so far. I will of course continue to search for the truth. At the end of this is a conversation with a Christian friend, I will remove his name for his protection:
This article was found at the following site: http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/sliming_obama.html My points and observations are written in red. I will continue this investigation through updates in the comment section.
Pledge of Allegiance? The slime doesn’t stop there. The e-mail also claims Obama "will NOT recite the Pledge of Allegiance nor will he show any reverence for our flag" and that "while others place their hands over their hearts, Obama turns his back to the flag and slouches." These e-mails usually come with this photo, seen here as it appears on Time.com's Web site:
Photo deleted
The photograph was taken during a "steak-fry" for Sen. Tom Harkin of Iowa on Sept. 16, 2007. What is pictured is the singing of the national anthem, not a recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. For proof, see this video this link goes to a site where all that is seen is a blank video entitled Obama Out of Tune?Sen. Obama leaves his hands to his side during the national anthem. 11/07/2007 there is nowhere that will allow playing of any video.taken by ABC News during the event. And for proof that Obama has no problem reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, check this video of C-SPAN’s recording of the Senate’s morning business, with Obama presiding, on June 21, 2007 the site referred to has been removed, site redirected, videos for June 18, 19, 20, and 22 are there but no June 21.. Or this one from Feb. 1, 2007. this video was in fact there, after watching from the beginning until 15:02 of the 4:15:11, Sen. Kennedy began to speak. This is not right, the very first act upon convening a session is the pledge to the flag, all meetings and ceremonies within the Government are started with the pledge, sometimes both the National Anthem and the Pledge, but always, the Pledge is to begin any function of the US Government. I will grant you I did not listen to the 4:15:11 to see if a Pledge would be offered sometime during the day, but to neglect the Pledge at the start of a Senate session is unbelievable.
A point not raised in this e-mail: Some have complained that Obama should have placed his hand over his heart during the singing of the anthem, as pictured in the Time photo. It is true that the U.S. Code states that "all present except those in uniform should stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart." But the word "should" rather than "shall" makes that a recommendation and not a legal requirement. This is true, unless in uniform, there is no absolute requirement to place the hand over the heart during the playing or singing of the National Anthem, however you may check carefully and I know you will find; that is not true of the Pledge. To confirm, we spoke with Anne Garside, director of communication for the Maryland Historical Society – home of the original manuscript of "The Star-Spangled Banner," and asked if anyone could be punished for not placing their hands over their hearts during the national anthem. She quickly replied, "Oh, of course not," adding that "there is no obligation to put your hand over your heart." Garside told us she has been asked numerous times about this rumor and finds the controversy to have "gotten a little bit ridiculous."
The "Black Baby" smear
Scurrilous smears like those contained in these two e-mails can have a damaging effect. Before the South Carolina primary in 2000, for example, phone calls were made to voters in which the callers claimed to be taking a poll, asking: "Would you be more likely or less likely to vote for John McCain for president if you knew he had fathered an illegitimate black child?" McCain had done no such thing. He and his wife had adopted their daughter Bridget, who has dark skin, as a baby from Mother Teresa's orphanage in Bangladesh. A professor at Bob Jones University also had sent an e-mail message telling South Carolinians that McCain had “chosen to sire children without marriage,” which wasn't true. McCain lost the 2000 primary, and the Republican nomination, to George W. Bush. Senator McCain was indeed sabotaged in 2000. Which led to a period of decline for America.
Such attacks usually can be disproved with less effort than it takes to forward them to others. The statement that Snopes endorsed the false claim that Obama is a Muslim radical is an example. So we find it disappointing that they continue to circulate. But we expect to see more of them as the election year wears on, and we'll do our best to expose them when readers bring them to our attention.

Non’ya my friend,
Another discovery is causing me much distress right now. I'm working on a blog that I hope will get out there and stay out there on my blog. My friend I hope you, your family, and all your friends are prepared for Armageddon. I do not want to be an alarmist, but information has come my way today that really frightens me. It will be in my blog, but to summarize, I found a video that I hoped might be fake in some way where it showed President Obama stating very clearly his feeling for the religion of Islam and the Muslim faith. I got on the Democrat site and sent a request for disproving this video. A gentleman shortly messaged me in facebook by the name of Joe Crisi October 7 at 2:23am, I will be listing the back and forth messages in the blog article. We went back and forth a few messages and he shared a link with me to prove the President was a Christian. I checked all his links and what I found will be in the article, but I did not find, ANYWHERE, that President Obama is a Christian. I just don't know what to think right now. I'm going to continue digging and hoping upon hope that I can find that the video is a fake, or somewhere that I can know without a doubt that we are being told the truth. The truth is very important to me, and I am diligent and open-minded enough to search for it until it's found. I just hope that the thoughts going through my mind right now are not true, that this is not the beginning of the End of Days. I hope, I pray.
Please keep me in your prayers my friend as I will keep you and yours in mine.
In the name of Jesus, I pray for this world. I ask for forgiveness for all the sins of this world, the citizens residing on this earth, the leaders of every nation, and all the government workers, employees, and Servicemen. I ask your Blessing upon all of us, I ask you to stay your hand while we make a final attempt to bring back Christ-like values and principals to all nations. I ask that you watch over all the good Christians I know, have been in contact with, or are in touch with at this moment. Forgive us as Christians who did not see, for our eyes have been clouded by Satan and his minions. Protect us oh Lord, I humbly pray and delivery us from the evil that is sometimes in this world we now live in. Go with us now and calm our Spirits, give us Hope, send down 10,000 Angels to comfort each of us. For it's in Jesus Christ name we pray. AMEN
Take care my friend and stay safe.

Read your recent blog and made a comment on it. It is a well written testimony of God's teachings and principles. This is where some of our brothers in the Catholic church are lacking. Really , truly knowing God and acting upon His Words.
Glad to see that you are not about to quit your blog. I read your other email where you mentioned posting this last article and that it could be your last.
This coming Saturday, 9th Oct, we are having our second Bible study in my home. We will pray for you, your family and friends and your efforts to help bring about change in our country, your adopted country. I pray that our numbers (those who get involved) will continue to grow. Your efforts will not be in vain. Be of great courage always as I can see that you already are.
God bless.

Hi Non’ya,
Yes these interruptions are very irritating, luckily I had Jesus work on the internet, while I completed the article he laid on my heart. Turned out about right, I had just finished the http://stchristine.blogspot.com/2010/10/mistakes-chastisement-understanding-and.html article, when Jesus stepped in and the internet was ready to go. Thank You Jesus!
Absolutely not, I am not quitting my blog efforts, nor will I be lying low. I would like to bring some clarity to the problems faced right now in the Philippines and try my best to get everyone to see what the real problems are. And try to get everyone to stop making attacks, blaming others, in every direction.
Thank you so much for the phone number, unfortunately in my case, if the internet is off, the cell phones are probably off as well, and we have no land-line in this small community. And Thank You and others for the prayers, they mean so much right now, every now and then usually when I'm feeling a little low or stressed an email, or chat comes over that lifts my spirits. It is at those times that the song Footprints comes to mind. Thank God he carries me so much.
God Bless you and your family,
Mark

We are praying for you and your family and friends.

Caustic Sludge Burns Through Hungarian Towns En Route to the Danube
ReplyDeleteHealth Fears Linger as Red Sludge Found to Be More Caustic Than 9/11 Dust
By JANE E. ALLEN, ABC News Medical Unit
Oct. 8, 2010
The caustic, red sludge that burst from a reservoir at an aluminum plant Monday has been found to be 1,000 times more caustic than the dust at ground zero on 9/11, an environmental health expert has said, amid growing concerns about the lingering effects of the toxic spill.
The flood of sludge burned more than 120 people and killed five as it left a reddened swath of devastation in western Hungary this week, according to environmental advocates on the scene.
After decimating the fish population of the Marcal River, the toxic slurry became more diluted as it reached the mighty Danube River. The torrent of alkaline mud that swamped homes, cars, roads and bridges, particularly in the town of Kolontar, contained byproducts from aluminum manufacturing, which uses caustic soda to turn bauxite, or aluminum ore, into lightweight metal. . . .

ReplyDeleteSenate Finds Corrupt Security Firms Fund Enemy
ReplyDeleteby Justin Fishel | October 07, 2010
WASHINGTON -- The Senate Armed Services Committee released a scathing report Wednesday on the state of the U.S. military's private security contracts in Afghanistan, concluding U.S. taxpayer dollars are being funneled to Afghan warlords, strongmen linked to murder, and in many cases the Taliban.
Committee Chairman Senator Carl Levin rolled out the report in a press conference Thursday morning, saying there is "significant evidence that some security contractors even work against our own coalition forces, creating the very threat that they are hired to combat."
The Department of Defense has roughly 19,000 private security contractors working in Afghanistan, compared to 95,000 U.S. troops. The State Department employs an additional 7,000. Up until now this supplemental force has been considered critical to the mission.
But the results of Senator Levin's year-long investigation reveals serious flaws with the system.
In one instance the corruption was found to be so bad that a private security contractor used rocks to simulate security personnel who had been paid to stand guard at a U.S. base in the Nangarhar province. In another case, the military hired guards who worked directly for the local Taliban. As a result, $12,000 a month in salaries funded by U.S. taxpayers were going directly into enemy hands. . . . .

Joe Crisi October 8 at 7:06am Report
ReplyDeleteYou have to understand politics and race in this country to understand why someone would go to such lengths to degrade a man and his religion. First of all we just finished 8 years of George Bush's policies which put this country in horrific condition. There is a small part of me that believes that the Muslims attacked this country while he was president because they knew he would act in the manner in which he did. So you had a conservative party going out of power and a liberal party coming into power. The conservative party has gone out of their way to make Barack Obama look as bad as they can. They do not want he reelected. Then you have the race issue. While the majority of people in this country are free of bias at least 20% of this country hate people that are not white. No president has professed his faith as much as Barack Obama. Let me pose this question to you. George Bush said he was a Christian. Why did you take him at his word?
Mark Merejen Borders October 8 at 7:29am
Thank you for responding. I will tell you that the "Bush" years, all of them, were the worst in the history of the US as far as I'm concerned. It has always been my belief that the Democratic Party is the only choice for a right-thinking society. Right-wing politics is a disaster. Let me ask, did you get a chance to check my article? I really want to complete that article in favor of my chosen party affiliation. It is my opinion that only under a Democratic leadership can America be great. President Bill Clinton is one of my hero's, I respected him and looked up to him, was so proud of him, and never berated him even during his faults. I make bad choices just like everyone else. I did not take Bush at his word, and I do not believe he was a Christian, but I never had a reason to pursue and challenge against him, because I never saw anything where it seemed he was claiming to be a Muslim, Buddhist, or any other non-Christian religion. And I don't want to challenge President Obama. But I also don't want to stand behind someone who I'm not sure I can trust or believe.
Joe Crisi October 8 at 7:52am Report
Well like I have said he has professed his faith many times. More that any president. I don't use YouTube videos because they are too often doctored and not real proof of anything. I will try to respond in kind tomorrow.
Mark Merejen Borders October 8 at 7:57am
Ok and thank you, maybe you misunderstood me at first. I'm not an opponent of the Democratic Party. And I can not find where he has stated anything about his faith, that's what I wanted to know and find out where I could see it with my own eyes and hear it with my own ears.
I want to believe my party, and my President. I want to, so I simply was asking for a direction I could look to give me the ability to believe. Not to be told by someone else, but to hear it from him, no doubts.
Joe Crisi October 8 at 7:55pm Report
No I understood that. What I was saying is that he has said it several time while campaigning and as president. I do not use YouTube for the reason I stated. The video you sent me was doctored. Why should you believe one that has him professing his faith? The factcheck site I sent you is a very good one and does not favor any party. There is another one called Politfact that is very good as well but you will see the same answer in there. He is a Christian, pure and simple.
Obama gives nearly half a billion dollars to terror organization HAMAS
ReplyDeleteWashington (CNN) - The United States will contribute $400 million in development aid to the Palestinian territories and work with Israel to loosen its embargo on Gaza, President Barack Obama said Wednesday. Obama's announcement came after White House talks with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. The money will be used to build housing, schools, water and health care systems in both the Palestinian Authority-controlled West Bank and Gaza, which is ruled by the Palestinian Islamic movement Hamas. Obama called the situation in Gaza "unsustainable," and said the United States would work with its European allies, Egypt and Israel to find a "new conceptual framework" for the Israeli blockade of Gaza." source - CNN
Obama Administration to Support Anti-Israel Resolution at UN Next Week
ReplyDeleteTHE WEEKLY STANDARD has learned that senior Obama administration officials have been telling foreign governments that the administration intends to support an effort next week at the United Nations to set up an independent commission, under UN auspices, to investigate Israel's behavior in the Gaza flotilla incident. The White House has apparently shrugged off concerns from elsewhere in the U.S. government that a) this is an extraordinary singling out of Israel, since all kinds of much worse incidents happen around the world without spurring UN investigations; b) that the investigation will be one-sided, focusing entirely on Israeli behavior and not on Turkey or on Hamas; and c) that this sets a terrible precedent for outside investigations of incidents involving U.S. troops or intelligence operatives as we conduct our own war on terror." source - The Weekly Standard

The Bow Heard Around The World
ReplyDeleteA deep bow from the waist is a recognized sign of submission to the person you are bowing to, in much the same way that a dog will lay down before it's master. The meaning of the word "Islam" is 'submission'. That is what you are watching in this photo - Obama, as the leader of America, submitting to a foreign, Muslim king. You will note that the King is not bowing in return, but instead maintains the superior position.
"In a shocking display of fealty to a foreign potentate, President Obama bowed to Saudi King Abdullah at the Group of 20 summit in London last week. The bow was an extraordinary protocol violation. Such an act is a traditional obeisance befitting a king's subjects, not his peer. There is no precedent for U.S. presidents bowing to Saudi or any other royals. Former President Franklin D. Roosevelt shook hands with Saudi King Abdulaziz in February 1945. Granted, Mr. Roosevelt was wheelchair-bound, but former President Dwight D. Eisenhower shook hands when he first met King Saud in January 1957. Mr. Obama's bow to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques does not help his image with those who believe he is secretly a Muslim, and why he chose to bow only to the Saudi King and not to any other royals remains unexplained." source - Washington Times
Obama Administration declares Jihad Legitimate
ReplyDeleteThe president's top counterterrorism adviser on Wednesday called jihad a "legitimate tenet of Islam," arguing that the term "jihadists" should not be used to describe America's enemies.
During a speech at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, John Brennan described violent extremists as victims of "political, economic and social forces," but said that those plotting attacks on the United States should not be described in "religious terms."
He repeated the administration argument that the enemy is not "terrorism," because terrorism is a "tactic," and not terror, because terror is a "state of mind" -- though Brennan's title, deputy national security adviser for counter-terrorism and homeland security, includes the word "terrorism" in it. But then Brennan said that the word "jihad" should not be applied either.
"Nor do we describe our enemy as 'jihadists' or 'Islamists' because jihad is a holy struggle, a legitimate tenet of Islam, meaning to purify oneself or one's community, and there is nothing holy or legitimate or Islamic about murdering innocent men, women and children," Brennan said.
Brennan argued that it would be "counterproductive" for the United States to use the term, as it would "play into the false perception" that the "murderers" leading war against the West are doing so in the name of a "holy cause."
The comment comes after Brennan, in a February speech in which he described his respect for the tolerance and devotion of Middle Eastern nations, referred to Jerusalem on first reference by its Arabic name, Al-Quds. "In all my travels the city I have come to love most is al-Quds, Jerusalem, where three great faiths come together," Brennan said at an event co-sponsored by the White House Office of Public Engagement and the Islamic Center at New York University and the Islamic Law Students Association at NYU. ." source - Fox News

The White House, he said, would host fast breaking dinner.
